Great news!

The Vermont Department of Libraries has awarded the Town of Salisbury a grant of up to $978,807 to go towards renovating the Town Hall which houses the Salisbury Free Public Library. Work can begin once all necessary funding for the complete project is in place and the full renovation plan has been approved. The renovation will include a drilled well, bathroom and septic system, accessibility modifications including a ramped entrance and handicap parking spot; an elevator to the second floor; energy retrofit; new windows; and structural repairs.  The Library Board gratefully acknowledges the Vermont Department of Libraries and the Federal Government for this generous grant, as well as all who worked so hard on the application process.
